Elliott strode majestically into the classroom of first period French, utensils all neatly tucked into his transparent book bag. His bleach blonde hair fell lightly down his forehead, yet not reaching his eyebrows. Christoff, as Elliott liked to call the French teacher, sat at her hickory desk at the front of the cozy classroom. Her Miniature Pinscher, Christy, rushed to greet Elliott. Today was the day of the Christoff test! Elliott had studied long and hard for this, and was ready to pull it off. Christoff had allowed Elliott to watch over the dog for several days and practice the tricks. You see, Christy was trained with commands only in French. Therefore, the Christoff test was to give Christy a series of commands and have her respond correctly, so speaking, you had to know your French commands if you were to pass. He settled at his desk, which was adjacent to Maddie Harlor's. While the rest of the class was settling down, he leaned over and whispered, "Hey."
